Requirements:
- Broad knowledge of basic small animal medicine (pharmacology, proper restraint/handling, venipuncture, laboratory testing).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in veterinary medicine.
- Experience with sedation and anesthesia are required.
- Current CVT/LVT/RVT or educational equivalency required.
- Proficient catheter placement skills.
- Work with doctor in administering chemotherapy (must be comfortable handling hazardous materials – will be fully trained, and be expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines).
- Proficient computer skills.
- Communicate with clients, and team members (verbally and written).
- Attention to detail and a calm demeanor required.
- Ability to work independently at times, focus, prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
