As a Veterinary Emergency Technician at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, you'll be on the front line of urgent patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Triage incoming patients, assessing their medical needs and prioritizing treatments based on urgency.
2. Provide immediate critical care, administering fluids, medications, and other life-saving interventions while closely monitoring patient status.
3. Collaborate with emergency veterinarians and fellow technicians to devise and execute treatment plans for acute and complex cases.
4. Maintain a calm, organized workspace, ensuring rapid access to supplies and equipment needed for emergency interventions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
1. Experience in a fast-paced emergency or ICU setting, with a proven ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
