Key Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Emergency Technician at MVA, you'll be on the front line of urgent patient care, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment:
- Triage incoming patients by assessing their medical needs and prioritizing treatments based on urgency
- Provide immediate critical care - administer fluids, medications, and other life-saving interventions while closely monitoring patient status
- Collaborate with emergency veterinarians and fellow technicians to devise and execute treatment plans for a variety of acute and complex cases
- Maintain a calm, organized workspace and ensure rapid access to the supplies and equipment needed for emergency interventions
Ongoing Training and Support
Participate in ongoing training and case discussions, sharpening your skills and staying current with the latest emergency protocols and best practices.
