MetroPower is hiring an Electrical Project Manager in Warner Robins, GA for the Federal Government market. The Project Manager will be responsible for the profitable execution of electrical projects under his/her control. This position will act as the primary resource for managing safety, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, profits and sales growth for concurrent projects involving one or more customers.
Job responsibilities:
- Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support and promote goal of achieving zero accidents
- Facilitate constant process improvement in production and efficiency to optimize output of the field workforce.
- Manage billing and collections; track accounts receivable and manage working capital
- Prospect for leads through interaction and networking on job sites. Develop productive relationships to help grow the business.
- Forecast weekly goals based on human and material resources and equipment.
- Analyze and forecast factors that affect results to maximum efficiency.
- Provide personnel development plans, monitoring, coaching, feedback & growth opportunities to direct reports.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure high quality service is provided to guarantee repeat sales and favorable recommendations.
Requirements:
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to travel and/or relocate
- Valid driver's license and insured personal transportation required
- At least 5 years prior experience in electrical construction in the federal government or similar marketplace required.
- Four-year construction or engineering -related degree preferred or relative experience (5-7 years in project management role)
- Possession of a Georgia Electrical Contractors License preferred
- Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years' experience preferred.
