Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Desk Technician located in Reston, VA. The Service Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting desktop computers, providing help desk support, and performing computer repairs on-site.

• Document and track issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving desktop hardware and software issues.
• Manage and Maintain IT assets.
• Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deploy, configure, and manage devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Service Desk experience providing on-site and remote support.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Nice to have - Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
