Position Summary :
We are seeking a Level 2 Smart Hands Technician with basic scripting knowledge to provide hands-on IT support, troubleshooting, and deployment assistance in a data center or enterprise environment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures for hardware and software configurations.Key Responsibilities :
- Hardware Support : Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
- Cabling & Connectivity : Perform network patching, cable management, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Basic Scripting : Utilize scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting tasks.
- Remote Support Assistance : Act as hands-on support for remote IT teams, following instructions for hardware and software fixes.
- Device Deployment : Assist with deploying new hardware, including servers, switches, and workstations.
- Firmware & Software Updates : Support system updates, patch management, and basic configurations.
- Inventory & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of IT assets, cabling, and infrastructure components.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, networking, and basic software.
- Vendor Coordination : Work with third-party vendors for equipment replacements, repairs, and installations.
