What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant Training Clinical Instructor position at Metrowest Healthcare Academy?
Metrowest Healthcare Academy is accepting applications from Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses to teach clinical skills to our Nursing Assistant students in a skills lab and clinical site settings.
Requirements:
1. Must have a current Massachusetts RN/LPN license
2. Must have a minimum of two years working experience in a Long-Term Care Facility
3. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising/educating CNAs and strong clinical skills.
4. Must have some experience using technology (Zoom)
5. Must be able to provide a current PPD, physical exam and proof of Covid-19 vaccination
6. Must be able to teach students in-person on days that they have skills practice (both in the skills lab and in a clinical setting). Note that there shall be an extra $3.00 per hour on clinical days ($35.00 regular & $38.00 for clinical days).
7. Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
