Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of licensed physicians, and assist with other imaging-related tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Produces high-quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by licensed practitioners; assists with amnio procedure biopsies; processes and files films as needed.
- Assists licensed physicians with ultrasound procedures and prepares patients for exams.
- Operates imaging equipment to capture clear, accurate images for medical diagnosis and patient care.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of current sonographic techniques, technologies, and best practices to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography.
- Preferred: Associate degree.
- Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in sonography.
