Job Summary
This role provides direct clinical patient care. It assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and unit level. This role supervises staff to which appropriate care is delegated. It's accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
The ideal candidate will have effective interpersonal and communication skills and be able to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
Certifications:
- Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy; CPR certification.
