The Surgical Technician Role
We're seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting with surgical procedures, setting up equipment and supplies, and maintaining aseptic technique.
Main Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing and passing instruments during surgical procedures
- Setting up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies
- Pulling cases as needed and breaking down cases at the end of procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean operating environment
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of a surgical technician program, as required by state regulation or policy
Experience:
Preferred: 1 year of experience as a surgical technician
Certifications:
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred: Surgical Technology Certification
