Introduction
We are seeking an Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2025 to join our Brookfield team. Metso’s purpose is to enable sustainable modern life. We achieve this through providing products and services used in aggregates and minerals processes to produce materials. This position will support our Minerals Crushing business line, specifically Crushing Equipment solutions.
This Engineering Intern will work with the engineering team to understand our products and how their discipline is applied to those products. The Intern will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and apply engineering knowledge, principles, and best practices to meet design support activities.
What you’ll do
- Perform related engineering calculations.
- Perform practical design work.
- Work in collaboration with the engineering team on special projects.
- Work closely with senior engineers and manager to provide technical problem-solving.
- Apply engineering knowledge, principles and best practices to meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Show a focus on quality, ethics, and a focus on meeting the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Observe safety regulations and exhibit a concern for safety
- Ability to understand and interpret PDF and drawing files
- Undertaking other tasks as may be assigned by the Engineering Manager or other management personnel.
