Introduction
We are seeking an Installation & Commissioning Expert to join our Filters Global Field Services team in the Professional Services Business Line in the Services Business Area! Our team is providing on-site installation and commissioning support to all Metso filtration technologies and therefore, we have diverse needs for different disciplines such as EIA, mechanics, hydraulics and process know-how. This position is meant for automation experts, whose main task will be filter equipment commissioning advisory at the customer sites. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Global Field Services, Filtration.
This position is not tied to any specific location, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements. However, please note that the position involves around 70% of global traveling.

What You’ll Do
- Provide on-site support for filtration equipment installation and commissioning services globally
- Advise/direct others in the correct installation and commissioning sequence & procedure to ensure safe, efficient, & accurate installation and commissioning services
- Execute on-site jobs ensuring scope, delivery time and costs according to budget
- Provide on-site technical expertise and customer support for filtration equipment
- Support the Market Areas’ competence development through on-the-job training and mentoring
- Provide input and feedback to product development and continuous improvement activities
- Support sales activities by providing technical expertise to selected sales cases
- Provide input to technical documentation, such as manuals, spare part catalogs and maintenance instructions & recommendations
- Ensure proper fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso, customer and local legislation
- Engineering degree/soon to be graduated or approved/professionally recognized equivalent, in the area of automation or process industry
- Knowledge and understanding of filtration equipment and processes will be an advantage
- At least a couple of years of relevant industry experience preferred but not required, enthusiasm towards automation highly appreciated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Strong written and verbal skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently in different cultures around the world
- Willingness to travel globally
