We are seeking Quality Assurance Professional to join our Repair Center Quality Team at Metso. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all repair and maintenance activities meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to maintain quality control processes, conduct inspections, and ensure continuous improvement initiatives.
In this position, you will report to the Quality Manager, Services Operations.
This position is located in Mesa, AZ and may involve up to 10% travel to visit customer sites and attend training sessions.
What you’ll do :
- Identify and address quality issues and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collecting data, analyzing data, and generate reports on quality performance.
- Coordinate closely with the quality inspectors, and various departments regarding acceptance and rejection criteria and processes.
- Work with the local engineering team, product line engineering and quality team on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s).
- Perform other tasks as directed.
Who you are :
Four (4) Year applicable Engineering (or equivalent experience).Experience in Quality Assurance an asset.Experience in the mining, manufacturing, or heavy equipment repair industry.Experience with regulatory compliance and auditing would be beneficial.Experience with analytics, creating reports, and high attention to detail would be preferred.Knowledge of nondestructive testing methods and equipment : visual, remote visual, leak, liquid penetrate and others.Knowledge of industry standard technical terms, such as, but not limited to : ASME and AWS.Knowledge of SAP applications or similar ERP application is beneficialA high level of in-depth knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PP, Access, Outlook, Projects),Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and possess a solid mechanical aptitude.Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.What's in it for you :
