How you would make an impact/key responsibilities: *

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting in the safe operation of assigned craft. Executing line handling and barrier and gate movement duties as prescribed by crew position and in the Kings Bay Submarine Base operating instructions and the training qualification plan.
- Safety of crew, and other personnel aboard the craft at all times
- Ensure the prohibition of illegal discharge of oil, waste and other hazardous materials as required by law or regulation.
- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance on the assigned craft, adjacent pier space and common areas of port operations.
- Qualified STCW or Ability to pass Navy 2nd Class swim test
Ability to obtain and hold a Security Clearance. Drug and background check will be required.
- Ability to obtain a Kings Bay Access badge
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Possess a strong willingness to learn
- Small boat experience in local waters a plus
- Any other duties as required for the Contract performance

- At Sea, Pier Side and Adjacent Facilities
Physical Demands
Moderate. Please refer to the USCG Merchant Mariner Medical and Physical Examination Requirements for Merchant Mariner Credentials (Form CG-719 K).
