Ideal candidates for our internship program will use their skills/experience to:
- Complete a 10-12 week summer internship, working 30-hours per week
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements for various projects.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of analytics tools and web interfaces.
- Create documentation and training materials to support the use of developed tools.
- Use real data sets to design and implement a robust data import pipeline that appropriately cleans input data, processes and analyzes it, and presents it to the user.
- Analyze data and generate insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and tools.
- Learn and apply knowledge of the product lifecycle in real-world scenarios.
What You Need to Succeed
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming in Python; experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, macro experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analytics.
- Some experience with Web interface design or development is a plus
- Any familiarity with KNIME, Drupal, or BI is a plus
