Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
The area service leader is responsible for the supervision of field service technicians delivering repair, installation, and calibration services at customer locations within the territory. Importantly as well, they are responsible for the profit and loss of the territory.
We are open to candidates who either live near Decatur, AL or Lexington, KY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
* First line supervision and management of field service technicians.
* Communicate and enforce company policies as they relate to field service personnel.
* Review and approve technicians work hours, overtime, vacation, and expenses.
* Collaborate with sales organization within Mettler Toledo to help drive revenue.
* Develop personal and technical training plans for each technician.
* React to customer feedback regarding the quality or timeliness of service.
* Understand the Profit and Loss of the territory, budget planning, and resource allocation.
* Key account management.
* Partnering with back office (customer service, invoicing, and scheduling) to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
What You Need to Succeed
Education & Experience
- Associates degree in business, operations management, or field experience in a technical discipline is preferred. Prior supervisory responsibility in technical discipline is preferred. Four to Seven years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Industry Experience Preferred, or in related Industrial Industries
