Quality Assurance Supervisor
Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Supervises, directs and coordinates activities of the inspectors and technicians in the Quality Assurance department.
- Responsible for accurately administering time records for hourly department employees.
- Promotes safety in all activities, raising employee’s awareness of risks and actions to take to avoid them.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Recommends adjustments to procedures or work instructions to improve effectiveness.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate and/or train workers to achieve work goals.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate training of all inspectors and technicians.
- Responsible for cross training throughout the department. Assists in training as is applicable.
- Interface with other departments as required to resolve quality related issues;
- Through own work and subordinates, maintains all Quality Assurance areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
- Performs additional tasks as are required.
What You Need to Succeed
Strong skills in verbal and written communication in English.
- At least one year experience training and leading team members.
- Demonstrated experience showing good judgement in personal interactions with and between other individuals.
- Previous experience in roles with formal supervisory responsibilities desired but not required.
