Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Evaluates nutritional status, assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutrition care plans, and evaluates and reports this information appropriately.
- Provides complex nutritional care based on specialty knowledge of metabolic response to severe injury and illness.
- Collaborates as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, is involved in team conferences, provides food and nutrition-related in-services, and contributes to the development and revision of hospital policies.
- Cooperates and coordinates activities with other health care team managers and staff to provide quality patient care.
- Performs duties in support of the health system’s mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
- Maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
- This position serves all ages of patients.
Education and Training:
DE Registered Dietitian License required
Additional Education/Experience Preferred:
Postgraduate Degree in nutrition education or Nutrition Science

REQUIREMENTS:
- BS Degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian
- Licensed RD
- Experience in a Contract Dining facility setting preferred
- Electronic Medical Records
- Nutrition Education
