Position : Facility and Transportation Coordinator
Job Summary : Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a facility or building, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. This role can cover a wide range of tasks, including managing building maintenance, safety, security, utilities, and cleaning. This job also includes the responsibility for maintaining the organization’s fleet of vehicles. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, a commitment to safety and quality service. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintenance and Upkeep : Ensuring that the building is in good working condition, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Safety & Compliance : Managing safety protocols and making sure the facility complies with regulations.
- Space Planning : Optimizing the use of space to meet the needs of employees or tenants.
- Vendor Management : Overseeing external contractors who may handle tasks like janitorial work, landscaping, or specialized maintenance.
- Installation and Repairs : Install seat covers, toolboxes, and replace taillight bulbs, along with other minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Heavy Lifting : Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
- Shared On-Call Work : Available for on-call assignments outside of regular Monday to Friday work hours to address urgent maintenance needs.
