Job Summary :
The Regulatory Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations governing operations by reviewing permits, monitoring drilling activities, analyzing production data, preparing necessary filings, and advising company management on regulatory issues, all while staying updated on changing regulations and interacting with regulatory agencies to maintain operational legality and minimize compliance risks
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Interact with agencies in a professional and influential manner, responding to their requests
- Perform regulatory and permitting activities associated with operations of wells
- File reports and submits payments to federal and state agencies
- Work independently and in groups with guidance in complex situations
- Read and understand plats and drilling report to submit paperwork
- Work closely & build rapport with engineers, field geologist, landmen & accounting personnel
