As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, assisting with guest services, and maintaining a smooth flow of operations within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean and organized.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing plates and utensils.
- Support the culinary team during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
- Familiarize yourself with menu items to assist guests with their selections.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in culinary or banquet service is a plus.
