POSITION TITLE: Hourly Cleaner (12-month)
CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: Mexico High School
Hours: 7:30PM-11:00PM (School Year)
CERTIFICATION: Civil Service - Labor Class
START DATE: February 2025
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Moderate to heavy lifting required
- Knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks
- Ability to work independently
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Probationary appointment
- 12-month position
- Part-time (Monday - Friday, 3.5 hours per day)
- 10 months on part-time, 2nd shift (During School Year)
- 2 months on 8-hour shift (July - August)
- Hours may vary per supervisor's discretion to meet district needs
- Job specifications as per civil service and district job description
- 2nd shift differential
- $19.13 /hour
