Dishwasher/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients for cooks and chefs.
• Bus tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean dining environment for incoming patrons.
• Help with banquet setups and breakdowns, ensuring all catering needs are met efficiently.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
