What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Mexico Magico Restaurant and Cantina?
We are looking for a motivated server to greet customers, take orders and assist with menu questions, serve dishes, light bartending making drinks, stocking the front and helping to clean and close down at night. The ideal candidate should be bilingual, positive attitude, attentive, and work well under pressure. If you have previous experience working in a restaurant, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful server will be the friendly face welcoming new and returning customers, helping them with menu choices and helping to make their experience a great one. We want each customer to leave with a smile on their face.
Responsibilities:
- Help with closing the restaurant, cleaning and stocking for the next day
- Assist in inventory tracking and ordering of front end supplies
- Say up to date on new menu items helping to sell those items
- Taking orders and imputing them into the system correctly ensuring each customer gets exactly what they ordered
Requirements:
- Prior full service restaurant experience
- Prior server experience
- Food Handlers certificate
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
