Key Responsibilities :
Order Management & Customer Service :
- Take customer orders accurately, ensure they are relayed to the kitchen properly, and confirm order accuracy before serving.
- Engage with customers professionally and encourage feedback and reviews to enhance service quality.
Food Preparation & Assembly :
Prepare and portion ingredients such as vegetables and sauces to support the cooking team.Assemble menu items according to customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation.Kitchen Support & Flow Coordination :
Monitor kitchen and front-of-house flow to ensure efficient and timely service.Communicate actively with cooks and other team members to streamline operations.Cleaning & Maintenance :
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by wiping down surfaces, organizing tools, and managing waste disposal.Lead end-of-day cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and equipment cleaning.Perform regular deep cleaning of equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.Inventory Monitoring :
Track ingredient levels and notify management when items are running low to prevent shortages.Flexibility in Roles :
Step into various roles as needed, such as prep cook, line cook, maintenance crew, or cashier.What We’re Looking For :
Team Player : Ability to collaborate effectively with cooks, cashiers, and other team members.Adaptability : Comfortable switching between tasks and roles based on operational needs.Attention to Detail : Consistently deliver food that meets MexiKhana’s standards for quality and presentation.Customer Focus : A friendly, professional demeanor to ensure every customer has a great experience.Reliability : Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized environment.Energy & Efficiency : Able to work quickly under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.Qualifications :
Previous food service or hospitality experience is requiredAbility to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is preferred.Must be available for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.What We Offer :
