Digital Marketing Associate - Hybrid, Chatham NJ

The Company

Founded in 1973, we are a growing, boutique business looking to hire an Associate to join our Marketing Department. We are direct marketers of insurance through associations, primarily alumni associations. This family business has quadrupled in size in recent years and seeks additional talent with potential for significant growth and advancement.

The Position

This is a hands-on position in the marketing department requiring planning and implementation of digital campaigns. The right person will learn quickly and connect the dots with ease. Project management and attention to detail are both critical. The opportunity is perfect for someone with email and/or website management experience looking to grow.

The Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is solicitation planning, project management, and implementation for email, social media, and digital campaigns. This includes:

• email creation, proofing, and deployment
• ideation and implementation of marketing automation campaigns
• design and evaluation of A/B testing
• tracking of goal completions, response rates, and other KPIs, and making recommendations to improve performance
• analysis, including Google Analytics and campaign results
• website management and optimization, including creating new web pages and managing blogs and other content
• understanding of data and segmentation methods
• coordination with some third-party vendors
  
  
  

Requirements

• B.A. plus at least two years of post-graduate work experience
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Knowledge of HTML, Google Analytics, Illustrator, Photoshop, and WordPress
• Experience with email marketing applications, such as Act-On
• Experience with marketing automation campaigns (not required, but a big plus!)
• Comfort with a small-business setting
• Willingness to step beyond the job description when needed
• Professional maturity and good judgment
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
