What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Meyer Buildings?
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Estimator to join our growing team.
The Estimator will review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to develop accurate cost estimates. Will be required to gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate and obtain the best price. Will work closely with sales to provide accurate competitive bids to customer leads.

This position requires a keen understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost trends, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience is Key, however a Bachelors degree in any of the following may be beneficial: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or other related field is preferred.
A minimum of [5] years of experience in the field or as an estimator in the construction industry with a proven track record of successful project estimates.
A strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and cost drivers is required. Must be proficient with estimating software and/or the ability to develop efficient methods of providing estimates using Excel or other software appropriate to maximize accuracy and efficiency is required.
The knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements is required.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required. Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary based in experience.
