William B. Meyer, Inc. is a full-service logistics company that specializes in the relocation of libraries and archives on a national level. We are seeking qualified individuals to assist in the unpacking and re-shelving of collections at the Rudisill Library on the Lenoir Rhyne Campus in Hickory, NC. This is a temporary, full-time position and will begin on January 13, 2025 with anticipated completion on or about January 30th.
Responsibilities:
- Push dollies
- Stack boxes
- Move boxes
Requirements:
- Physically fit; repeated reaching and bending, must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
