Position Summary : Breakfast Attendant The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and help serve the dailybreakfast area. Greeting each guest at breakfast and ensuring that guestsare 100% satisfied.
Providing personalized service to all guests.
Setting up and maintaining the breakfast area, preparing food items and be attractive abundant looking, organized, clean and standardized presentation.
Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
Stocking coffee, juice and milk in the breakfast area Preparing food such as fruit, sweet rolls, muffins, crossiants, yogurts, cereals, hot sandwiches and other baked goods in areas of serving
Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
Wiping up spills
Removing trash.
Restocking self-service food and supplies as needed.
Washing serving equipment and returning it to the storage area.
Returning reusable food supplies to storage.
Listening and responding to guests’ requests or complaints.
Position Summary: Laundry Attendant
The primary responsibility of the Laundry Attendant is to wash, dry, iron and fold hotel linen and ensure that it is clean and available to be used by the hotel’s departments as needed. In addition, he or she may be responsible for delivering linen to different storage areas and maintaining an organized work area.
Experience & Education:
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Requirements:
Work Environment – Ability to work:
With various type of equipment such as washer, dryer, gloves, automatic soap device, mop, broom, vacuum, carts for linen transport, keys, laundry chute, two-way radios
Under variable temperature conditions
Under variable noise levels
Outdoors/Indoors
Around chemicals, fumes and or odor hazards
Around dust and or mite hazards
Physical Requirements:
Long hours sometimes required
Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, stoop or reach with your body and arms repeatedly without difficulty
Ability to stand for long hours and walk long distances without fatigue
Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range
