We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations in our two dining outlets—1869 Dining Room and Alpine Lounge—as well as coordinating wedding and event operations during the summer season. This is a working manager role that requires strong leadership, multitasking, and a commitment to service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Actively lead food and beverage operations, working alongside servers, bartenders, and banquet teams.
- Oversee weddings, events, and banquets, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
- Manage cost controls, ordering, inventory, and bar operations (wine, spirits, and beer).
- Support and oversee 1869 Dining Room, Alpine Lounge, guest pantries, and banquet/event spaces.
- Train and manage a team of hosts, bussers, bartenders, morning and evening servers, and banquet staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop menus and pricing structures in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Act as a closing manager as needed.
Requirements:
- Hands-on leadership style – must be comfortable working alongside staff during service.
- Experience in food and beverage management, preferably in hotels or upscale dining.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying conditions.
- Driver’s License required.
