SUMMARYThe Housekeeping Manager will build rapport with associates, and would be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operation with the Director Housekeeping to deliver outstanding guest service. This person will supervise and ensure all Marriott brand service standards and procedures are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the daily inspection of guest rooms are ready for guests in the highest standards.
Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, and service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
Obtains list of vacant rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective checkouts in order to prepare work assignments. Advise Front office manager, guest service agents of rooms ready for occupancy.
Assigns Housekeeping attendants their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Ensure that all team members follow safety rules and procedures. Take corrective action where required to improve safety of work areas.
Manage Marriott Housekeeping systems and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability, budgeting and forecasting, department management, Housekeeping standards implementation.
Inspecting rooms, corridors and lobby, meeting and banquet rooms to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment and makes recommendations to management.
Ensures guestrooms are properly secured and that proper key control procedures are utilized by the housekeeping associates.
Responsible for smooth function of the hotel laundry operation.
Assist in monitoring and developing team members performance to include but not limited to training on standards, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE* Candidates should possess minimum of 3 years’ experience in over 250 room 3- 4 star hotel as a Supervisor.
