The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc   CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing bathroom area. Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls, painting work. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities. Performs the “PM” schedule on a timely basis, ensuring that all elements of the guest room meet the standards of the Stamford Marriott.  Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, or makes recommendations for repairs, as assigned: all mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, all building components and furniture, fixtures and equipment. Communicate with guests/customers when necessary to resolve maintenance issues.  QUALIFICATIONS :High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification in HVAC operation, electrical work is necessary. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a full-service hotel. Prior experience in Marriott Hotels or full-service hotel brand will be helpful.  Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Highly observant and proactive in identifying potential maintenance issues.  Working Conditions: - This position may require standing or walking for extended periods. - May involve dealing with challenging situations and individuals in a professional manner. - Salary range for this position - $ 19.00- $21.00 per hour.
