Summary Operate the functional areas of guestregistration and guest service to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum hotelprofitability.  Accurately balances allhotel income and expenses for 24 hour hotel operating period. EssentialFunctions Attendstraining; including safety training, standard operating procedures, RAMPcertification, and any other as directed by management.Arrivesat work in a timely fashion and in accordance with the posted schedule.Abidesby established uniform guidelines.Practicesefficient and effective procedures. Readsand understands English to comply with function directions.Worksas a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has anexperience that exceeds their expectations. Maintainsa “can do” and “guest first” attitude at all times.Reportsany maintenance repairs to maintenance staff; records repair information inmaintenance log, and follows up to ensure the work has been completed.Organize,confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs, reservations,requests, changes, and cancellations.Activateand provide room keys. Addressesguest requests complaints regarding service or equipment; relay as necessary.  Provide appropriate compensation ifnecessary. Supplyguests with area recommendations and directions as well as property amenities, services,hours of operation.Resolvescomplaints to the satisfaction of the guest.Assuresrequests are made in a timely manner.Knowledgeableon PMS as it pertains to functions of the front office.Maintainspersonal contact with customers (both internal and external) including dailyinteractions with guests.Preparesand presents packages according to guest reservations, notifies Front DeskSupervisor when inventory is low.Coordinateswith housekeeping supervisor daily to ensure guests special requests are met.Provideswake up calls to guest rooms.Completesinformation on guest folios.Maintainsproper credit card records.Providescompleted folios via paper or email.Runsand review daily reports/logs; addresses any unresolved issues from previousshifts/daysWorksto meet or exceed benchmarked scores as it pertains to the front office.Properlystocks market items and notifies Front Desk Supervisor when inventory is low.Ensuresadherence to procedures for hotel accounting, credit control, handling offinancial transactions, security of monies, guest security, and emergencyprocedures as established.  Counts banksat beginning and end of shift; records accordingly.Takescontrol of lost and found as appropriate.Balancesall room revenue and room expenses.Balancesall room and tax charges.Completesdesignated cashier closing reports.Providesa shift report to the next shift.  Sendsshift report. General Accounting Knowledge Language Ability:                    Ability to reach and comprehend simpleinstructions, short correspondences and memos; Ability to write simplecorrespondences Math Ability:                            Ability to add and subtract two digitnumbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; Ability to calculatefigures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages; Ability tobalance accounts, calculate taxes Reasoning Ability:                   Ability to apply common senseunderstanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, orchart/diagram form;
