Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the SDR will be instrumental in helping to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth through prospecting and cold calling efforts. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Generate and qualify leads by engaging with potential customers and understanding their needs.
- Schedule pre-qualified sales appointments for Outside Sales Managers.
- Utilize company-provided tools and CRM software to manage leads and track outreach efforts.
- Overcome objections effectively and build strong rapport with prospects.
- Execute targeted email campaigns to nurture relationships and drive engagement.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, including call notes, lead status updates, and scheduled appointments.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including daily call targets, email outreach, appointment setting, and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Business Development Teams to optimize lead generation strategies.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by leadership.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong work ethic and proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or NetSuite preferred).
- Experience with RingCentral or calling center platforms and ZoomInfo for prospecting is preferred.
- Prior experience in sales, business development, or a call center environment is a plus.
- Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace for remote work.
- High-speed internet connection (employee-provided).
- Availability to work in-office several times per month as scheduled (unless approved for out-of-state work).
Travel & Physical Requirements
- Fully remote but must live within 30 miles of Kansas City, MO
- Desk and computer work required.
- Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
