Chemical Blending Technician - Lexington, NC
Meyer Laboratory is a rapidly growing nationwide chemical manufacturer. We are looking for a motivated individual with prior manufacturing experience to join our team. This is a full-time role based out of our Lexington, NC, facility.

Shift Hours
Day Shift – Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm; overtime as needed
Job Purpose & Summary
The Chemical Blending Technician (CBT) will be assisting with the day-to-day manufacturing work to include but not limited to blending products, managing batch sheets, logging batch sheet data, entering production data, executing on the manufacturing schedule, troubleshooting blending, raw material, and product issues.
Based on business needs, the CBT may also assist with various other manufacturing duties such as production schedule, bottling lines, troubleshooting and repairs, packaged counts, batch sheet logs, product yield data, labeling, packaging, capping, lidding, boxing, palletizing, operating bottling lines, facility organization and cleaning. The CBT must also consistently comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manufacturing
- Blend products, manage batch sheets, log batch sheet data, and enter production data.
- Understand and execute on the manufacturing schedule.
- Foresee blending and raw material/packaging issues and troubleshoot uncommon issues.
- Proficient in understanding and troubleshooting common product issues.
- Based on business needs, may assist with various other manufacturing duties such as production schedule, bottling lines, troubleshooting and repairs, packaged counts, batch sheet logs, product yield data, labeling, packaging, capping, lidding, boxing, palletizing, and operating bottling lines.
- Follow the facility maintenance plan and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Maintain certifications and be proficient with powered industrial trucks.
- Comply and lead safety and quality regulations in all manufacturing areas including the bottling area and wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Education / Work Experience & Requirements
- Excellent attendance record and timeliness.
- Must be flexible with day-to-day job duties.
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks.
- Willingness to comply and lead safety and quality regulations in manufacturing areas including the bottling area and wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Travel & Physical Requirements
- No travel.
- Meets the physical requirements to include walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting, climbing crouching, and operating equipment.
- Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
