Administrative Assistant
The role of the Administrative Assistant at Meyer Manufacturing involves an intricate role in accounting processes along with a supporting role performing various office related tasks for the company.
Primary Accounting Responsibilities:
- Process and Distribute Invoices and Statements
- Prepare AR payments for posting
- Post and Prepare AP invoices for Payment
- Assist with Dealer Paid Sales Volume Incentive Program
- Assist with Salesman Paid Sales Incentive Program
- Manage Dealer Co-op Advertising Program
- Assist with Annual 1099 Filing
- Manage Certificate of Insurance Workflow for Vendors
- Other Accounting Duties as Assigned
Primary Administrative Responsibilities:
- Prepare Outgoing Mail
- Answer Phone and Route Calls
- Manage Front Desk Operations
- Assist with Managing Office Supplies
- Assist with High Volume Print and Mailing Projects
- Manage Paper Folder Workflows for Accounting
- Assist with Special Events as Needed
- Other Administrative Duties as Assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Accounting education or equivalent experience
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong multitasking ability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems
- Previous success in office environment
Reports to: Office Manager
Salary: Non-Exempt, $22.11 - $29.22 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as needed, In-person job type - Dorchester, WI.
