Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in municipal utilities, water, and wastewater systems for our Ruston office. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local, state, federal, and environmental regulations. You will be responsible for leading projects from conception through funding, design, and construction, providing technical expertise, project management, and budget oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage projects related to municipal utilities, water, and wastewater systems.
- Design and oversee construction administration, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as environmental standards.
- Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and manage project budgets.
- Prepare funding applications to various state and federal funding agencies.
- Administer contracts, oversee construction progress, and ensure resource management is efficient.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other software to develop designs and technical drawings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports and submittals.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
- Handle conflict resolution, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure high standards of ethics and integrity.
