Job Title: Low-Voltage Construction Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Low-Voltage Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage low-voltage infrastructure projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate teams, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain compliance with industry standards. The position may involve work on government projects, requiring adherence to strict security and compliance guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of low-voltage technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of structured cabling, access control, security systems, and other low-voltage infrastructure.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Conduct site assessments, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Train and mentor technicians, fostering skill development and teamwork.
- Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to support efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in low-voltage installation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Certifications (Preferred): BICSI, OSHA 30, AVIXA CTS, or relevant industry certifications.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics), security systems, access control, CCTV, and audio/video installations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and drive project success.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and client interactions.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a self-clean background check due to government project requirements.
Travel:
-Ability to travel for work at least one week a month. This includes travel within the United States and International if needed.
