What are the responsibilities and job description for the RV Service Advisor position at Meyer's RV Superstores?
Meyer's RV & Marine is searching for a Highly Motivated Individual to join our team!
_ Essential Job Functions: _
- Responsible for scheduling customer RV service appointments
- Selling needed service repair and/or maintenance
- Greeting customers in a timely manner
- Writing up unit problems accurately and clearly on the repair order
- Inspecting the unit and recommending additional services as needed
- Advising customer on the value of maintaining the RV in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications
- Providing a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts
- Reviewing repair orders to ensure that work is completed
- Ensuring any additional work along with customer authorization is documented
- Explaining completed repairs and/or maintenance items to the customer
- Must communicate effectively with the service technicians, parts department, warranty department and service manager.
- Any other duties assigned by management team.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Previous RV product or camping lifestyle is helpful
- Ability to follow department procedures and policies
- Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed
- Able to work Saturday's as needed.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to details
- Great Customer Service Skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
