Job Description
Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Stock Room Attendant will perform the following duties: ordering, storing, issuing, and maintaining all hardware and tools used in the manufacturing process. In addition, will cross-train with Receiving Clerks with unloading packages from incoming trucks; pick and sort received materials; verify packages against invoices; interoffice deliveries; and label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
Primary Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility, stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. Work with hand tools and power tools and some heavy lifting is required. Work in manufacturing environment and use of computer (typical 2-button scroll mouse and keyboard - 10% of the work day). The employee must frequently lift/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Must be able to use required PPE. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Must be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast paced with a strong commitment to accountability.

Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with shop personnel to ensure timely service and prevent machine down time
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions
- Documenting machine parts usage and ordering - provide supervisor matrix weekly
- Stock shelves with incoming parts
- Clean and organization of stock room
- Identify opportunities to improve existing process
- Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards
- High School diploma or equivalent- documentation required
- Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)-documentation required
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Participate in cross-training efforts interacting with other departments to acquire additional skills and knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tech savvy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate information to others verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Familiarity with various types of machining equipment and computer knowledge
- MTI is a safety sensitive manufacturer. As such, successful results of pre-employment drug testing will be required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Keen eye for detail
