Job Description:
The Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting Waterjet Manufacturing through effective communication within Meyer Tool and externally to our customers. This position will be a liaison between Waterjet Production & Quality/Engineering.
Job responsibilities:
- Understand weekly customer demand requirements and communicate that clearly to the Waterjet Operations team
- Tracking of production Output within the Waterjet shop in Cincinnati
- Tracking of Inspection Output within the Waterjet shop in Cincinnati
- Populate and update Spreadsheet trackers, and communicate effectively to stakeholders
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be able to use Microsoft Excel at an expert level, and be able to perform statistical analysis within Excel or Matlab.
- Must be organized and possess time management skills and skills to adapt to priority changes
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent- documentation required
- Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)- documentation required
- Be able to write and document information clearly in English
- Must be able to multitask and follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work all required hours which may include weekends
- Function effectively within a team environment
- MTI is a safety sensitive manufacturer. As such, successful results of pre-employment drug testing will be required.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or in process of obtaining degree)
- Experience working in fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a Parts Mover or Production Control position
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility buildings, stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate. This position may require a substantial amount of walking on a regular and daily basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Must be able to use all required Personal Protective Equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
