What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Process Operator 1st Shift position at Meyer Utility Structures, LLC?
Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Control Process Operator for our plant operation located in Fort Worth, TX. A Control Process Operator sets up and operates machines, and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 5:00am - 3:30pm with occasional MANDATORY overtime on Saturdays!
Operate any or all of the following machines:
20' Break Press, 26’ Break Press, 60' Break Press, Plasma Table and Kinetic (Drill Press)
- Form and or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes
- Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
- Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
- Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Other job duties as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 20’ or larger break press, Plasma Table, or Drill Press, preferably breaking and/or cutting steel up to 2” thick
- Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements
- The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
- The ability to stand throughout the day, and climb on/off equipment, and lift materials in excess of 50 pounds regularly
- A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
