Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in assembling mechanical components. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are assembled efficiently.
Duties
- Service oilfield equipment including accumulators, BOPs, elevators, etc. Including small gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, wiring 12-volt electrical systems.
- Trouble shoot and rebuild used equipment.
- Assemble products, equipment, or machinery by following blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Conduct tests on assembled products to ensure functionality and quality standards are met.
- Identify and resolve any quality issues or defects during the assembly process.
- Diagnose mechanical or electrical issues in machinery or products.
- Repair or replace faulty components and parts to restore equipment functionality.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Inspect and adjust equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Document assembly processes, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Complete service reports, inspection checklists, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years in an assembly, maintenance, or service technician role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, testing equipment, and measurement instruments.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes & other general shop equipment.
- Prefer Experience or training in a mechanical field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including an understanding of blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions

Pay: $20.51 - $21.93 per hour
