Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks in the shop, including but not limited to:
- Mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment
- Using hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance
- Operating a forklift to move materials and equipment
- Fabricating and welding metal components
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for understanding equipment and machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools for performing repairs and maintenance
- Experience operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal components as needed
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management
- Competence in using power tools for various tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
