Dishwashers are the unsung heroes of the kitchen! This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment. This role is essential in ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting the kitchen staff, and upholding food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workstations.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste following proper sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in kitchen cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and support the kitchen team when necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as instructed by any member of management
- Help fellow team members with any and all tasks needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience is not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and professionalism.
Pay Rate: $15 & up, depending on experience
This position could start as early as mid-April, and end as late as the end of October.
We also have employment opportunities at our central Wisconsin locations for those who wish to relocate after the end of the season.
