Role Purpose

As a Line Worker, your role is pivotal in the production process, contributing to the creation of high-quality products synonymous with the Mezzetta brand. Through comprehensive training, you'll execute assigned tasks proficiently, supporting the objective of maximizing line productivity, minimizing downtime, and reducing scrap.

Responsibilities

• Perform work center activities and tasks in a manner that supports the team in producing quality products and maintains line productivity standards consistent with Mezzetta's high standards for food safety and quality.
• Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Production Quality (FPQ), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements to achieve and maintain food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment and processes within your assigned area. Ensure all food contact surfaces are always kept clean and free of contamination.
• Monitor equipment and conveyors for any malfunctions or abnormalities and promptly report them to the Line Lead for resolution.
• Complete 100% of required Alchemy training, including Personal Safety and Food Safety Training, to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company policy, which mandates that all personnel capable of impacting product quality, safety, and legality are competent and trained to effectively carry out their roles. Responsibilities and authorities of all personnel are communicated through induction and role training.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to adhere to strict food safety and quality standards.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
  
  

Work Environment

• The work environment is a food manufacturer. The Line Worker may experience a wide range of ambient temperatures and humidity levels in the workplace.
• It is also likely that the Line Workers may be exposed to strong odors and fumes from hot peppers and other flavorful products processed within the facility.
• The position requires lengthy periods of standing, walking bending stooping and using hands to sort product, top off jars, remove cores and perform inspection on the line.

$19—$19.88 USD
