Mezzo Market is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team at our new location in Plaza Midwood vetted to open in March, 2025. We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Counter Server and Barista. Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically greets every Guest with a smile and positive attitude
- Take Guests' orders and ensure dine-in, to-go and call-in orders are properly rung up in the POS
- Handle all cash, credit card and gift card transactions
- Check identification before serving alcohol according to state law
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
- Maintain and properly handle all equipment
- Have full knowledge of all food & beverage menu items
- Maintain a driven, intense pace with good cleaning habits throughout shift
- Other functions as assigned by management

Qualifications:
- Passionate and hard-working individual
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift a minimum of 25 pounds
- Friendly, loves to smile
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
