Objective
This person will work with the facility managers across Northwest and North Central, Missouri, to implement, maintain, and monitor the Corporate Safety, Environmental, and Regulatory Program. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

This person will work with the facility managers across Northwest and North Central, Missouri, to implement, maintain, and monitor the Corporate Safety, Environmental, and Regulatory Program. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.

- Are available to work full time hours
- Are available to work overtime (as needed)
- Will maintain a degree of knowledge pertaining to laws and regulations
- Understand and convey how facilities are meeting or not meeting compliance
- Will identify facilities that have a higher risk level of noncompliance and provide assistance/guidance as necessary
- Will perform job duties with a high degree of effectiveness and efficiency
- Will investigate workplace accidents and provide guidance for assisting locations with reducing future risk
- Have knowledge of MFA SER Program, OSHA, SARA Title III, DOT, EPA, DNR, Dept. of Ag, Community Right-to-know Regulations, DOL, FDA and DHS helpful
- Reside in the region and be on call 24 hours a day
- Are able to travel (approx. 30% overnight)
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills required, including public speaking
- Have interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Can function well under stress
- Have organizational and time management skills
- Have PC skills
- Have attention to detailed
- Can become a certified First Aid instructor
- Have the strength and agility required to conduct audits and training (must climb grain bins)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in one or a combination of the following: Safety, Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science or Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Physical Science, Geology, Engineering, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, Animal Science, Soil Conservation, or a closely related field; or 3 years experience implementing safety, environmental and/or regulatory programs.
