About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, recommending, and performing automotive repairs in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair customers' vehicles, ensuring quality control of all shop functions.
- Perform brake, front end, and alignment maintenance as well as mechanical work according to company programs, policies, and procedures.
- Train and coach other employees in accordance with company programs, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain the orderly flow of customer service assignment to ensure productivity.
- Extend Big O's Extra Care Services to all customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
- Current Motor Vehicle Inspection License (for Missouri based stores).
- Able to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Able to work with hazardous materials.
- Able to consistently work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Able to comply with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations.
- Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
