Position Overview:
The Regional Account Manager is responsible to communicate the benefits of a company’s products in order to drive Rentals, Sales, Repairs & Calibration Services, and Training. Regional Account Managers will grow their customer portfolios via marketing leads, trade show contacts, and individual lead generation throughout the assigned region and coverage area. Primary duties will include establishing and maintaining report and professional relationships with NDT Service providers and End Users regarding upcoming projects. The selected candidate for this position will identify and maintain front-facing business growth through capitalizing on external opportunities to build and to maintain successful relationships with prospective customers, existing and prior customers to generate revenue and MFE Inspection Solutions Brand loyalty.
Responsibilities, not limited to:
- Secure orders, guarantee products standards and assure product delivery
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost effective.
- Maintain a detailed call report of prospect and existing customers for review on a daily or weekly basis with the Vice President of Sales and Branch Unit Manager.
- Answer phones, assist customers by completing order entry, order processing, and additional administrative work.
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Demonstrate product knowledge and technical capabilities
- Identify prospective customer, lead generation and conversion
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Emphasize features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare rentals and sales agreements
- Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
- Responsible for Rentals and Sales performance and addressing issues when necessary

- Reliable non-destructive equipment experience and technical background
- Ability to work with others as a team

- Presentation skills and ability to convey product value
- High-level organizational skills for maintaining successful regional sales territory
- Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts
- Strong communication skills and interactions with customers

- Inspirational attitude and ability to create a motivating environment
- Regional travel is a requirement of the position
